Dear David - I gather you refer to RADSL. xDSLs are all the rage now, so I don't think it will hurt DSTR to have a handle in it in a high profile city like NYC. To backtrack a bit, I think the technology is still a bit premature. Some people may even draw some parallels with ISDN deployment 10 years ago [i.e., slow to take off.] However, I think times are a'changing! Telecom services are intensely competitive, so TGC decision to try the rollout is both an offensive and defensive strategy. For DSTR, this is a great opportunity for her to get in on the cutting edge. Ideally [to the point of fantasy <vbg>,] if DSTR can do a semi-decent job, that will be a major feather in the cap on her resume. It is possible that she can use this as a launch pad nationwide. Ok, having said all this fantastic things, I must say I am as blind as you are. I mean, even without RADSL deal, not that we know much about it, wiring residential hi rise in a big way is really an emerging market. 1st, there are only a dozen of cities have great potentials to start [NYC, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, SF, LA, Phoenix, Dallas, Miami etc] However, this is almost inevitable. So, where is a better place to start than NYC <vbg>
