<A> Teleport,DualStar To Offer Internet Access In New York City NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Teleport Communications Group Inc. (TCGI) and DualStar Technologies Corp. (DSTR) will offer high-speed Internet access to New York City residents. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Wednesday, Teleport said the companies will use its Rate-adaptive Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Loop, or RADSL, technology, to provide Internet access at speeds as much as 50 times faster than the traditional dial-up. DualStar will provide on-site technical assistance for the management of the DualStar-certified RADSL plant, install and activate residential Internet services, and resell Teleport's RADSL service. Teleport provides competitive local telecommunications services. DualStar designs and builds infrastructure systems, and provides services.
