"There are apparently already 13,000 older OneWorld servers being used in Macintosh networks." (JEM)

Note that those were sold over the last 4 years, making the annual average about 3,250. The retail price is under $1,000 and the wholesale must therefore have been maybe $700. That gives an annual revenue of $2,000,000, or enough to justify a stock price of maybe 10 cents if the company had only around 8 employees to pay and 2,000 square feet to pay for.

The new product better be hot 'cause the old one ain't.

So, what experience does GVIL / OWLD have with VARs? I have never heard VARs mentioned by GVIL at any point until reading a posting here last week. My own experience with VARs is that they can't be counted on to pay for anything, until their own customers pay them. That can take considerable time and suck up a lot of capital. You also have to write off a lot of gear because they'll use it for 6 months and then send it back. I see nothing but trouble ahead for these folks.

One possibility that still exists is that they'll demo a fine product and leverage that into a quick sale of the company. I just can't see how they can survive otherwise unless the new product is totally on fire and sells itself.
