To follow on your point, let's remember that AMAT does not need to break out its revenue or profit for their CMP tool, unlike SFAM. When they broadcast their EPS, it is a collection of their business with no breakdown. I say this because it wouldn't be shocking to find out that AMAT has given away its tool in an attempt to get into the market at or below cost. This has been their historical pattern - and I have a very good source for this information.
