Joe. If all went according to plan, then 4 weeks it should of been.
Our shipper told us 1 week - instead it took nearly 3 weeks for the core to get to Perth by Air. (500 kgs = 2 pickup truck loads). Once it arrived in Perth the Ashton Laboratory couldn't start processing it until samples from Buffalo Hills Alberta were completed. The labs cannot process samples from different projects simultaneously because of the chance of cross contamination.

We have received results from the first phase of testing which is to confirm that the core is kimberlite. Even though it is something we already new, the test must be performed regardless. The core is now being crushed and diamond counts will be performed.

Because of these delays we are re-evaluating the procedures for processing further kimberlite samples. ie. smaller quantities to expedite shipping and alternative labs to expedite processing.

Regards
George
