This message was just posted on Yahoo by someone named Sir Galahad:

ALL, I want to warn you that all that glitters is not gold. There are MAJOR problems at wcii. Install times are avg. 60-90 days on resale 45-60 on-net. even though they quote 20 days on-net and 30-45 for resale. More than 25% of the deals they sell cancel prior to installation. They are double counting lines sold and installed. For example, they sell to a company that has 10 phone lines (they sign them up for local and long distance); this sale gets counted and recorded as 20 lines. (10 local, 10 LD) This is misleading to the finance community. Futhermore, they are behind on paying sales people, as a result their employee churn rate is very high. Moreover, word is out in the telcomm. community that this a bad place to work, recruiters don't want to place people there.
