Bizarre yes , next we will hear it's good for MSFT's shareholders

DOJ is moving toward a "remedy case" which obviously MSFT fears as they requested the settlement talks . Hard to explain having 94% of the desktop OS stimulates competition thru inovation .

AAPL could wind up as the only "no charge" source of MSFT's IE .

IBM stated (WSJ) it would not be buying a PC company but is interested in software etc . Hope AAPL tunes Rhapsody for OS/2 and puts a blue ribbon around FileMaker .
