Citizen Gates

This is New:
"The government is also concerned the new combination gives Microsoft control of crucial access points to the Internet, allowing the company to set up a virtual toll booth on the information highway. ...

The (Washington) Post also reported that the Justice Department has acquired a record of Gates' e-mail messages and will offer them as potent evidence in the case, though it did not disclose what those messages allegedly say. " Mercury News

Setting up a "virtual toll booth on the information highway"? -Only in America.

Actual "potent" evidence of possible direct involvement by Gates in rigging the market? -This is getting personal. Now, we've got a motivated seller.

Lets hope Bill Gates, as a man of integrety, does not sell out too much of the company's prospects and its share holders interests to save his butt from past indiscretions.

PS: Don't corporate officers usually cary some kind of liability or malpractice insurance?
