There is a new company called World Wide Wireless that was just vended into UPPI (OTC BB).
They do wireless large data transfer for the internet,
based in San Francisco.

They are also pioneering what they feel is the 'next generation'
for cellular phones, where the handset acts as a transceiver reducing the cost of transmission towers.

CEO is Michal Lynch who worked for NASA, U.S. Navy, Hubble Space Telescope etc. He also worked on the first design for cell phones with pagers which was huge.
