The SUNW/NOVL alliance on JAVA is a very good move for both companies This is the type of strategic alliance that I was hoping for. It shows that somebody at Novell knows the direction they have to go in. JAVA is the MSFT application killer nightmare that Bill Gates must worry about day and night. I plan to do more buying of NOVL. Can anyone seriously dismiss a company that has Novell's installed base and a migration path for its clients for the future? However Jonathan they need a consumer level entry product, a two user Intranetware web server/JAVA developer package, and a real plan to get those 3.X people to upgrade. Also I want to see the entire marketing and PR department fired about once every 3 monthes. Shall we make a call to that guy from SUnbeam?
