John-NOVL will move up after tax-loss selling is finished!

Unless there is a buy-out or some other very positive announcement, the stock price will probably continue a slow move down. The reason for this is that at this time of year many investors will dump a stock to offset profits ( assuming they have any). They may re-purchase after 30 days---the reason for the January effect. I have been involved with this for many years and sometimes saw the price of excellent companies drop at this time of year. Novell has a lot of shares outstanding and many many investors who are under water on this---so it could get interesting. I have followed Novell for many years and traded the stock. I recently sold my position at $11 1/8 on the recent sharp move up. I sold at a loss, but will re-purchase the shares back, hopefully at a lower price, but certainly this is easier said than done! I believe that the stock price will recover and perhaps even move up sharply once tax selling is complete. Best wishes to all.
