Canadian high tech companies are not well known in the U.S. because they always end up being bought out by an American company. Look at SoftImage they were bought out by Microsoft? There are many examples like that. In any case, we do have some high fliers in Canada, Northern Telecom being the most visible one, Matrox, ATI, Bombardier (planes)....

But you are right, we have a tendency to screw things up, look at Corel, Newbridge Networks, now Discreet. I agree that DSLGF management needs to get its act together.

MGI last quarter numbers were pretty good, let's hope they can keep it up. The synergy between the two companies does exist from a product development standpoint. There might be no synergy in distribution for now but we will see for the future.

Trader, I don't agree with your comment DSLGF should drop the MGI merger because they are selling 20$ shink wrap software. Microsoft sells to the same target customer and they are a 15 billion dollar company!

At this price maybe DSLGF is ripe for being bought out by someone? If they don't produce over the next 2 to 3 quarters they surely will become a target for someone.
