Malcolm: I've just caught a few headlines concerning the ongoing feud about your taking profits on runs. If I'm reading the argument correctly, you are 100% correct. We do NOT run these corporations, we loan them money and become TEMPORARY and very part-time "owners."
Whether temporary means selling for a 1 cent profit or a 1 million profit is only the business of the lender. One could argue that selling for a million is more damaging. The fact is that you're taking the same percentage bite wherever you bail out. I wish I'd bailed out sooner than later more often than not (with the possible exception of FNTN which I may hold long no matter the profit and only because I didn't didn't sell on early run-offs).

Regards,
Wally
