SAN JOSE, Calif., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- RFID Systems Corporation (BB: RFIDD) announced today that the Company has established a Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) of highly experienced business and technology professionals to help guide the company's business and market development. In making the announcement, Patrick O'Hearn, CEO, RFID Systems Corporation said, "Our Strategic Advisory Board has a mandate to challenge and review the strategy and tactics of the company on an ongoing basis. In addition, the members will provide high level introductions within the business community, and promote the message of the company with customers, investors and industry influencers." The Company also announcement the appointment of Mr. Ed de Paschalis as Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Board. O'Hearn noted "I have known Ed for a number of years and am looking forward to working with him again. He is a veteran of the high technology industry with an outstanding track record, sound business judgment and a network of contacts that will provide significant advantages to the Company." The Company expects to announce additional appointments to the SAB in the near future. Ed de Paschalis is currently consulting with several high technology firms in California. Ed is an expert in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and in the last several years had worked with Cirrus Logic, Cypress Semiconductor, EXAR, National Semiconductor and Lattice Semiconductor in the analysis, planning and installation of Management Information software. Immediately prior to his present consulting work, he was the Senior Information Officer (CIO) of Philips Semiconductor for 10 years. Earlier in his career he was the senior Information Technology officer at several major national and international firms such as the Singer Company, Levi Straus and Dayton-Hudson Corporation. He started his career at RCA.
