You make many valid points, Louis.

IMO, the entire MM situation has been whipped into hysteria by
a Congressman wanting national attention for bigger aspirations,
the news media wanting to sell papers & get ratings, and the
SEC enforcement division wanting ever increasing budget appropriations.

Not that there are no bad apples. There are. But, it would appear
a vast majority of complaints I see are from people who either
did not understand the way the OTC market worked in the first place, or simply were not willing to take responsibility for their own bad
investment decisions.

I emphasize I am NOT saying there are no bad apples in the barrel. But, I believe, there are few.. FAR fewer than say the early 1980's.

I hope you continue to read this thread, and drop in a note when you
feel it is appropriate.
