Volpe allowed their name to be dropped, and that's probably all they did. The stock did get up to $6 a share for a few seconds before the dismal earnings release, which eventually caused it to fall over 35%.

I had hoped that the company would achieve the market cap of CIEN or CSCO, by growing the price of the stock to $100 or $200/share. It may be that management seeks to achieve such a market cap, by issuing a billion shares, and hoping that the price won't drop as they do so.

I wonder if Volpe will support my bid to take over as FIBR's CEO with their 37,000 shares. Surely they also realized that management is the biggest problem, though it's difficult to tell the managers that.
