Ed,

Geeze man you are confusing me!!
You know more than the newsletter dweebs!

The "eastern trend" has no origin specified so I am not sure how it relates to the position of the old holes. It is a "trend" not "due east" of the hole, as I read it. I have it in my head they are drilling one hole north of the old holes possibly off to the east and/or west as well.

There is actually no directional information released from the Major data. Just an off-hole anomaly, not east or west. I may have been implying due west but in fact an analysis of the x and y component of the PEM data may actually lead one to the northwest.

The geo-section presented is actually an idealized section with the drilling projected to an east-west plane.

I would hope they are not "trial and error" drilling, but I am sure the position of the holes was arranged in a way so as to "triangulate" and setup an array for maximum probe data correlation.

If they would just give the coordinates wrt the old holes life would be more easy.

Sorry, this message is not very clear. They are being deliberately vague about positioning, I do not like that.
