I thought the HD concept was to caniabilize all the smaller stores in a general location. Now they are building smaller stores. I guess I could see its value in smaller towns that do not need a large warehouse. The quote that makes no sense to me is the one regarding walking a quarter mile through the parking lot. I do not know anyone who ever had a problem with the distance from the parking lot to the store.
