On the spread - I was watching a stock today with a similar float as AWTE (more expensive tho) and it has had for a long while a spread of $2 to $4!!! Well, buying has come in and the MM's need shares, so what do they do? They tightened the spread to .50 to try to get someone (anyone - puhleeez?) to sell.
