Rudy,

I appreciate you providing the additional info on Myotrophin, unfortunately, it has given me reasons to vent. My mother died form ALS in Nov, 1996 and I did not realize that in June, 1996 that the FDA knew about this drug but wanted more tests (and I admit that I do not do the research on this as i should--I guess it's just too painful, personal).

My mother would have done and did do everything to fight this disease. Yes, she had a bad case. But the FDA, it seems to me, does not fully appreciate that the victims of this disease lose all use of their muscles (in varying degrees- walking, talking, swallowing, use of arms and hands, bodily functions, breathing) while their minds are in tact.

All I can say (vent) is shame on them.

But like I said, it's personal for me.

Not looking for a fight, but just had to express that.
