MusicGuy, isn't that the truth?....a portfolio of good stocks, not "pump and dumpers" is the approach I like to take, too. I almost cringe like you when daytraders get involved, so I am going to be extra careful about a) buying low priced stocks, esp. below 50 cents, and b) careful to let dt's know that my stock is NOT a good mo mo Occassionaly I will play a more momentum oriented stock, but not often. regards, DAVE
