Mr. HR,

The problem for JAVA being an OS, is that it is slower than Win. Also, it has problems on some systems. I don't think they are major problems but still problems.

I think I read in an article written by one of the developers of JAVA, that there are some hitchs in JAVA. Not sure where I read it, so please don't take it to the bank. But I know there are some problems that exist that must be worked out for JAVA to be an universal OS.

JAVA as an OS is still a ways off.
