Going by the earnings estimate figures on this thread, I wonder if people are being overly bullish/carried away by the DELL euphoria. The mean estimate seems to be 0.47-0.48 here, which would be a > 10% earnings surprise. Over the past several quarters, while DELL has consistently beaten estimates, the earnings surprise has generally been decreasing, and has been in the single digits. If estimates on this thread are indications of "whisper numbers", then we might be due for a big fall after earnings, if the surprise is only 0.03-0.04. What do people think?
