Annual money growth for past three months: M-3 11.1%; M-2 9.2%; M-1 2.2%

It seems to me that growth in M-2 is now particularly interrsting from an inflationary perspective as it is a somewhat more liquid component overall money supply than m-3.

It's my understanding that a deflationary/saving mode usually results in an increased tendency to hold a higher portion of money supply as currency (e.g. M-1), which we are not seeing in these numbers.

I don't think it's hard to see where this is going.
