If you can't find the defendent guilty than you are out of luck. I
don't see that as being so bad. Seems strange to me that anyone would
argue with that concept.

"Trial lawyers" as you define them do their jobs, to protect their
client. IF one is a prosecuting attorney and can't get a conviction
then he might want to look at his/her methods.

Nonetheless, it is civil trial attorneys that are wrecking havoc on the justice system. Why, thanks to them I can't even get a warm cup of coffee from McDonald's now!

Your pigeon-holing of me as one of those business type guys is presumptious in regard to this idea that all businesses pollute. Of course, I imagine you don't have a problem with driving your car whenever you want to go somewhere.

While you are at it, you might take a look at who the ruling party was in Congress when these deficits you mention occurred under Ronald Reagan. Reagan, the liberal whipping post.

Now you say the GOP buys business votes...hmm...interesting...I thought it would be the other way around.

I also am not against taxes, however you're depiction of yourself as a progressive is actually amusing as it is apparent that you're leanings are just left of Ted Kennedy. Progressives seldom win and seldom will. You might want to crack open that history book and figure out what party Theodore Roosevelt belonged to when he won the Presidency and what party he belonged to when he couldn't win it. As I recall Mr. Roosevelt had a penchant for killing small animals with big guns but I guess he had a conversion of some sorts.

Environmentalism I haven't a qualm with. Radical environmentalism is usually both disingenuous and hypocritical. So far, you've used very little logical argument to make your charges valid. Don't be surprised when you get called on it more often.

Isn't it ironic that today's progressive is led by a wealthy businessman billionaire. Other ironies:

A business major decrying the evils of business...
