Doug:

Congratulations on your capital gains. I looked into the insider trading issue somewhat in depth. Form 4 is for actual reporting of sale/purchase by insiders and form 144 is for reporting intention to sell unregistered securities. In the link you provided to insider trader one of the reporters (in 144 for 152,224) was N=non insider and all others were insiders. CMGI had issued 632,000 unregistered shares most recently in buy out of Accipter. I believe that non insiders like former owners of Accipter are included in the above 144 filing.

Vickers reported that total insiders held 2,959,121 shares of which 2,931,123 are held by David Wetherell. Vicker's two month old data (gathered from form 4 filing) suggests that insiders sold 28,237 shares recently. The insiders will take a shot from the above 144 filing of 152,224 (may be 20% to 30%?) in the near future. IMHO,based on insider (Wetherel's) holding the actual and proposed insider sales are non material.

This is a great thread. In the SFE conference call, it was stated that they look at 2000 ventures during a year and invest in 7. Similarly, I am positive CMGI will find good use for cash from LCOS sale. IMHO, for CMGI best is yet to come. Good luck to all.

Best regards.
