Dwight,

>>So like I'm saying, your beef is with the OEM's not with MSFT.

My beef is strictly with MSFT's illicit and suspect business practices. As long as they win strictly by putting out better products that's fine but they are obviously not content with getting what they would like through open competition alone.

>>Your problem is that you want something that the major OEM's aren't offering. That's not their problem, it's your problem. I provided a solution --> a PC source that doesn't have those contractual obligations with MSFT.

Your problem is one of side-stepping an issue with this lame answer. Do OEMs not ship software with their machines because of a decision they made themselves or one that is tied to a pre-existing condition in a contractual agreement? BIG DIFFERENCE. It makes me wonder what other choices have been eliminated for the consumer.

Cheers,

Norm
