Ernest,

Hey now I wear shorts or long pants depending on the wether. Wether
the stock is moving in waves. Books have been wrote on all kinds of
trading systems. But a few years back a trusted ole friend who had
been trading stocks since I was in diapers showed me something that
at the time I wasnt in a postion to use. I have since read many books
describing the same general priciples, called by as many different
names. The bottom fact is that if you are in a position to be able to
monitor the market and act timely, you stand to make much more money
trading in and out of a stock multiple times. Granted this isnt for
everyone because of the time and resources needed. But take almost
any stock that has increased in value over the last several years. I
use that range because that jumped out (It works over any time period)
Lets say it has increased 200% Not bad tripled my money in three
years. If you will examine the charts for that stock for the last
three years you will undoubtedly find many times the stock had what
over the course of time amounted to minor swings both up and down.
Now with a little observation and research you should be able to
spot many more times you could have grabbed a dollar or two and ran.
Now lets say this stock cost $5 three years ago increased 200% and is
now at $15. (Good by most standards) Out of three years just how many
times do you think you could have made single point trades. I have
now proven to myself and a select few others MANY MORE!!! Dont get me
wrong this doesnt work on every stock, There is also the start neutral
system were you aquire a equal long and short position in the same
stock and make .50 to .75 each way on the swing. thats another story.
Anyway all this just to clear up the fact that I am neither a shortie
or a longie I am a trader or as some so politely put it a company
traitor. I generally could care less about the company, its product
or where it will be in the future. Just a current intrest. I think
Zitel qualifies.
