  ''We are very excited about the recent announcement of the first of these series 'The Mr. Potato Head Show,' which Film Roman will produce and which is expected to air on the Fox Kids Network in the fall of 1998 as part of its Saturday morning line-up.'' 
  Film Roman is entering into an agreement with Claster Television Inc. whereby Claster will license the television series rights to Film Roman and Film Roman will produce an initial 13 episodes of ''The Mr. Potato Head Show,'' a mixed-media children's series based on the original property of Hasbro Inc [AMEX:HAS - news]. 
  Film Roman will produce the episodes using a combination of computer-generated imagery, puppetry and live-action production technology. Film Roman will also handle international distribution of the series and under the terms of the proposed agreement will share in certain toy and merchandising revenues. Hasbro Inc. will represent worldwide licensing of characters based on the new series. 
  Pritchard continued: ''Everyone at Film Roman is excited about bringing this renowned character to network television. The production of 'The Mr. Potato Head Show' is an opportunity for Film Roman to show off our new computer animation division and this is a first step in our plans to expand our business beyond solely animated television production.'' 
  Founded in 1984, Film Roman is the Emmy Award-winning studio whose list of credits includes: ''The Simpsons,'' ''King of the Hill,'' ''Bobby's World'' and ''The Mask.''
