"The decrease in revenue from the comparable year-ago periods was due primarily to a continuing decline in the average unit sales prices of the Company's products as a result of intensely competitive market conditions, a lower level of unit shipments reflecting continuing weakness in demand for the Company's disc drive products and a shift in mix away from the Company's higher priced products. The Company expects that price erosion in the data storage industry will continue for the foreseeable future. This competition and continuing price erosion could adversely affect the Company's results of operations in any given quarter and such adverse effect often cannot be anticipated until late in any given quarter."
