Manfred, Vi, All, read today in a newsletter that Russia industrial production for April was up 0.8% y-o-y (official statistics). While to be read with a grain of salt, it's rather positive than not. I think real production is rahter higher than lower because of a lot of black market activities. I agree that devaluation of the Ruble is a danger, but I hope that the CBR will be able to manage to do it slowly, gradually instead of a sudden , one-day action. I wish people realized that Russia is not Asia, their problems and states of development are so different. Thomas
