I saw this this a.m. at Briefing but I missed the
'profile' yesterday. Did anyone see it?

Semiconductor Equipment

Brief: Applied Materialscame back to earth a bit on Thursday after rallying the day
before on as expected earnings... What was surprising about the gain was that it occurred
despite cautionary comments regarding next several quarters... Lam Research, profiled
on the page yesterday as an overvalued situation retreated 4.5%, or 1 5/16... Just the
beginning of what should be a sizable retreat... First support in 25-23 range, with
penetration targeting test of 20... ETEC Systems only stock to post solid gain, adding 1
1/4 on continued bargain hunting.
