Aware is a VDSL company and the VDSL news with the NEC/AMTX announcement is very positive. My belief is that Aware will be bought and so any investment in it by me is made with that outcome in mind. They are a small fish that has something bigger fish want. It will only be a matter of time. The news from other ADSL companies is just continuing good news for all. Aware's DMT ADSL is just straight up regular DMT though using a second generation chipset which I think is positive. DWMT is for their VDSL and it could be valuable. What is needed is a VDSL alliance. Aware's strategy as a company is to link with equipment distributors and have sells occur through them. Aware is not trying to build a worldwide sales force, but instead plans to use the existing sales force of these distributors. Aware IR told me that they are currently in trials with RBOC's that have asked them not to announce concerning the trials. Do we trust IR on this is the question or is IR hyping the company themselves. Is John Parris an alias created by Aware IR? It certainly is possible. I am certain that they are not in the GTE trials, although Aware IR "hints" that it is their understanding that they are included. What is that? They aren't in it. My investing is based on that assumption. I REFUSE to accept that they are now included. My research that is independent of Aware says that they are not. That is what I will go on because it is unbiased.
