La Jolla Diagnostics, Inc. Produces Product Featured in Book PR Newswire - May 15, 1998 09:33 LAJD %MTC %PUB V%PRN P%PRN

LA JOLLA, Calif., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- La Jolla Diagnostics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LAJD), announced that a book on natural treatments for the symptoms of migraine headaches by Douglas Hunt, M.D., titled Migraine Killers has just been published.
The primary product featured in Dr. Hunt's book (who has authored several books on alternative medicine) is manufactured by La Jolla Diagnostics and marketed under the name Migrin(TM) by G&S Imports, Inc., one of the Company's distributors (It is marketed under the name MigraSpray(TM) by the Company itself).
The product, a saline solution containing the herb feverfew, is designed to be sprayed under the tongue. This sublingual method of administration promotes excellent absorption. Feverfew is the common name for Tanacetum Parthenium, a flowering plant related to the chrysanthemum, whose leaves have been used for centuries in herbal remedies for the treatment of various conditions, including migraine headaches.
The water used in the solution has been processed by a unique patented technology* to form ClusterWater(TM), which remains chemically identical with unprocessed water, however when exposed to active biological molecules, the clusters form new polywater complexes which take on the structural and electronic "signature" of the biomolecules, a process which may enhance the effectiveness of the solution.
ClusterWater is similar to naturally occurring water clusters, which are groups of water molecules hydrogen-bonded to each other. The scientific evidence confirming the existence and biological importance of water clusters has been mounting, with several recent articles appearing in leading scientific journals.
La Jolla Diagnostics is a company engaged in the development and marketing of diagnostic tests and consumer health care products, and the licensing of drug delivery systems.
