Actually H-Bomb technology is no longer secret. A two page article appearing in the Peninsula Times Tribune dated Sept 18, 1979 (yes, 1979!) covering all sorts of technical aspects was released in the heat of much controversy, after an earlier shortened version was published in the same rag authored by Charles Hansen. Hansen claimed to have assimilated all his info from "unclassified" but dispersed sources. At the time The DOE was trying to quash distribution of this sort of info through injunctive relief.

Chuckie-boy did the world a huge favor under the banner of freedom of information, now anyone who can read good ol' American English has a one stop read from Dr. Teller to Isentropic Compression and beyond. Oh and there's a good diagram too titled H-Bomb cross section, for the reading impaired. Saved my copy, in case I need to take up a hobby in my old age, bought it at the news stand for 15 cents.<gg>

It's probably on the web somewhere now too.
