Mohan:
If Pakistan is developing nuclear weapons for their protection, I don't see any problem. Down the road, there is a possibility, under pressure and in an act of brotherly love, Pakistan may pass on the technology to their brother countries in the middle East. That will draw an intense scrutiny and violent reaction from Israel and USA. That will be a fatal mistake on the part of Pakistan. Since they are used to getting technology from the Chinese, it is not out of character to help a brother country. This may be a primary motivation why USA is putting pressure on Pakistan to stop the test.
