Tim, I know a few people with Rogers. They are at the top of the cable league in North America, no doubt about it. They put TCI to shame. I just don't know how much stuff they are buying in the next year. I got a chance to see the new c-cor mini fiber node / amplifier a few weeks ago. I think they have a great product at a great price. I think the cable gang will put it to good use in HFC systems. I'm not sure how many telcos will jump on it right away. Every telco is struggling with new broadband network deployment right now, whether it is HFC or SDV. Its not easy, its not cheap, and it certainly is not quick. There are lots of other short term revenue streams that are pulling telco investment dollars away from full service broadband network deployment - little things like PCS, ADSL, preparation for long distance competition against little outfits like AT&T or MCI-BT, and just contending with a huge amount of immediate new telephone demand with not enough people (one of the biggest challenges at the telco where I work). This is why I am not bullish on anything that is heavily dependent on telco investment in full service broadband investment like BBTK. Its not going to happen soon enough in any scale to please the investment community from what I see going on at the front lines. C-COR has much better prospects because the cable guys are going both feet first with HFC deployment all over the world. Ray.
