Dan,
I wasn't knocking the culture; just a little tongue-in-cheek social commentary.
I, too, love the company, but without visibility, it will remain our little secret. I don't think the fault is totally management's - most people are choosing not to invest in small high tech companies (at least for the moment; I have seen some signs the last few days that this may be changing). I own or follow a # of these - great management, great technology, but flying below radar.
All these "greats" add up to nothing, if there's no one in the forest to hear its latest earnings report.
I'm also concerned about the LAN Magazine articles. Why should anyone go out of their way to pick the little guy, unless they offer a better product &/or price? You should check out a big article the NY Times had a couple of days ago about Cisco. Said that they were dominating the networking market, because they offer "one-stop shopping" - all the eqpt a company would need. Why should a company f--k around going to several vendors for their needs, when they can get it all from Cisco? etc.
Still, this is going to be such a huge field, even a poor schlepper like MRVC will be able to eke out a humble yet dignified living, toiling away in obscurity.
