Greetings, Bob. Hal Smith's statement that there had been assignments is consistent with CIST's press release, which presumably was written by Mr. Smith. It could be construed simply to mean that Immunex assigned rights to Cistron, as indicated in the press release concerning the settlement. Remember that the lawsuit devolved from IMMX's patent filing which infringed CIST's prior patent. To twist the phrase of Sherlock Holmes, when subtlety and intrigue have been exhausted, consider the obvious.

I am not wary of the PR man. I've found no unsubstatiated nor overstated claims in any company document. You can't say that about every biotech company.

With regard to fighting insiders, the answer should be obvious to an old shaman like yourself. You simply relax and float downstream with them -:) If they're going to build the company, ride along with them. If they're not, fighting will not avail.
