Bay Network, Internet Svc Provider Sign Modem Reseller Pact Dow Jones Newswires May 14, 1998 ATLANTA -- Bay Networks Inc. (BAY) signed an agreement for Systems Integrator Inc., a provider of Internet services, to resell its LANcity personal cable modems. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Thursday, Bay Networks said Systems Integrator received long-term, exclusive rights to provide high-speed cable data services to multidwelling unit portfolios that currently aggregate more than 700 apartment communities and in excess of 600,000 doors passed throughout the U.S. Bay Networks said Camden Property Trust's (CPT) Camden Development Inc. unit signed a contract for Systems Integrators to provide it with the personal cable modems. Camden Property is a real-estate investment trust. Bay Networks researches, develops and supplies networking hardware.
