Peter Lynch iterates that stock buybacks are the best thing a Co. can do for its shareholders as opposed to "diworsification". Clearly they're not diversifying. So the arguement is between acquisitions and buyback. Given the lack of acquisitions, I'd prefer a buyback to burning it continued operations. However, no one should kid themselves, this cash balance was not created from positive operational cash flow. It came from us. By definition, this program just gives it back. The rest is just touchy-feely "market reaction" - and we'll see how much mileage they get out it. Thus far I'd say it's a modest recovery.

I have to say, though, I'm encouraged by the past few press releases and the professional manner in which they're delivered. I haven't torn into the numbers at least in the earnings release enough to comment.
