Greetings Sam, I sincerly commend you for your many quotations from Gods holy Word, however, the Bible emphatically states that to understand the written word in the bible, one must be born-again, that is one must have received the life of the Spirit. As I have previously stated, we are all born with a sinful life that we inherited from Adam and Eve. To understand the Word of God which is spiritual, one needs Spiritual life. This is the free gift to all, who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation. Please read 1 Cor.2:6-16, to see why I believe what I have stated. To attempt to understand the Bible with ones " natural mind " is a lesson in futility, full of contradictions to the ' natural mind ". Sam, You fail to see the beautiful harmony between the Old and New Covenants, which is understandable for one who has not come to faith in the Man, Christ Jesus, as recorded in His Word. May The Holy Spirit break through this blindness, that you may see your sin of unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Only Man can redeem man, therefore God Himself became as us ( flesh), that we might become His sons and daughters by new birth. Robert
