Linda:
Yes, that was written by yours truly. Diamondcutter, I am saying that by skirting the time to onset issue, this is a big red flag to me. Others may not get concerned. but I would like to know how long it takes to get an effect.
The company is saying that SGP is putting a muzzle on what ZONA can say in its communications. However, the white paper included three press releases issued by ZONA prior to the SGP relationship. Why no mention of PK here?
My opinion, if they had it, they'd flaunt it.

Even more fun - the research report written by ZONA's current IR person on March 18, 1997 when she was with Harris Webb and Garrison cites the following as advantages of Vasomax: ease of administration, lower cost, a closer duplication of sexual function, and rapid efflux of drug from the system (does this mean cleared quickly?).
The HWG report talks about the onset of action of Muse though (15 to 20 minutes) and Viagra as one to two hours not twenty to thirty minutes (underlined for emphasis). And although there is one line that says "a patient need only swallow a 40mg tablet 15 minutes before [a sexual encounter], this point is never revisited in the context of clinical data.
Maybe ZONA will someday sell 1bn of this stuff. But the evidence does not support that they will get the chance, in my view. |
