Well, I interpret that to mean not affiliated with Cashco. But then I thought that should go without saying. Unless perhaps the Merced corp is affiliated and they were making a distinction between this and the other deal.

While on this topic, has it ever struck anyone as odd that Cashco would enter into "Letters of Intent" for two completely different products for substantially, if not identically, the same considerations? I have puzzled over this and wondered how negotiations with two different groups can end at the same perceived value for the market potential of the two products. I mean how are you able to come to the same valuation point for Chat software and for a Y2K program?

I find this beyond my experience in negotiating contracts.
