Eric,

If you ask me, the following is where I consider the big-time
exposure to be. The relationship with companies like 'T'.
As long as NOVL rides on these types of coattails, it will get
much, much better.

Novell resellers to market
AT&T NetWare Connect Service
By Margaret Kane

AT&T Corp. will work with independent Novell Inc.-licensed resellers to market its NetWare Connect Service.
AT&T NetWare Connect, launched in November, combines AT&T's Worldwide Intelligent Network with several Novell
products to let users tie LANs together into WANs. "What the [Novell-licensed] agent brings to bear is that
knowledge of taking LANs and extending them to WANs. We bring the skill of understanding the WAN and working with
that," said Kent Mathy, sales vice president of business multimedia services at AT&T.

Mathy said 80 agents have been approved so far. All are
Novell Gold- or Platinum-licensed and have passed a further
course in the NetWare Connect program.
Mathy said he expects to have 350 agents selling the product
indirectly by the end of the year.

"If an agent has a relationship with a customer, they're more
than capable of doing it on their own; they don't need me to
bring in my sales force," he said. "But if there's a large solution
conversation around WAN, we obviously have the expertise there."

Joe.
