'The McCoy-Hatfield Syndrome'-or aka The Rams Vs The Mohammeds.

Sankar:

Barring the Pakistani military issue the only problem,I think between the Indians and Pakistanis. is the issue of Kashmir. Now if the 'idiots' from both sides are really 'smart' they can resolve this issue instead of dragging their asses until eternity on this matter. As far as I know according to the UN resolution Pakistan should relinquish the occupied portion (about 1/3rd of Kashmir aka Azad Kashmir) of Kashmir and if I am not mistaken then the Indians are willing to go for a plebiscite,if this so then let the Kashmiris decide what !#@$% they want to do,ie to join Pakistan,or to join India or be independent and that is the end of the story.

So here is the solution.

1.Pakistan give up the confiscated territory.
2.Conduct a plebiscite
3.Go with the results and the decision of the Kashmiris.

and let the chips fall where they may.

Otherwise this is really stupid to drag on this issue as it is causing misery for countless people and tremendous drain on the exchequer of two impoverished, ambitious and stubborn countries. The monies saved could be used for the development of the countries or at the very least could be used as bribes within the countries and help corrupt bureaucrats get rich and in turn help the Swiss bankers at the end.<gg>
