I thought your points were very well taken. BTW, I'm not an etrade customer but was thinking about opening an account. However, it seems to me that there's usually a trade-off between pricing and service. So if you want a lot of service, you have to expect to pay more for it. Currently, when I trade thru Fidelity, it costs me about 75 - 100 bucks per trade. So if I can save that much, I guess I should expect to do without some of the frills, no?
