Meat and Chuz: where to start? I'll address Meat's "friendly" post to me:

<<<Now for a little fun. You said: PC sales declines and
THE PIE IS SHRINKING. Now that's comedy<gggg>.>>>

The PC demand and supply imbalance: I'll let Kurlack do my arguing there. check out his comments from this morning on the semi's and PC industry. All the data I've seen shows business and personal demand for high end PCs shrinking.

<<<The statement their devotion to the highend mkt (big mistake)
Your perception of this issue... big mistake for you as an investor.>>>

Not today? In any case, this is just one day, but the high end is not the place to be IMO. Look at INTC and all the problems they're having. They sell processors to the high end. The clock is ticking on DELL, simple as that.

<<<Another statement: I'm heariing that DELL's business is slowing and they are pushing back orders
You clearly don't understand how PC mfgrs operate. Do you realize how many vendors are on the ASL (approved supplier list) for a given product? >>>

Look, I understand perfectly well how the system works, don't get so cute. I'm just telling you what I am hearing from buddies her ein Austin and Cali, maybe they're wrong, or the vendors that have reported slowdowns are just abberations. All of these things are possiblities.

<<<Every single PC company except Dell has disappointed. What does this
suggest to you? I know, Dell is next because it's in the same business, right?>>>

Yep, NKE was the last sneaker co to have problems too when the industry went thru a slowdown. You think DELL is immune to supply and demand? Sounds like more new era talk that is going to get this mkt in trouble too. When there is too much product and not enough demand, even the best come down, and DELL has a long way to fall.

<<<So, here are just a few of the insults you've expected. I don't expect you to believe any of this because explaining the complexities of the PC business to a stock trader is like trying to teach a dog to fly a plane.>>>

I'm no stock trader my friend, and you need to learn some manners. Good luck!
