I, too, have an accounting background. I, too, sympathize with them. Now fire the CFO and get someone who can figure out the gross profit when a PC is shipped - not weeks later. If the GP is less than what is in your forecast, you ain't gonna make your number. Its not rocket science. Chatting with the group was the only bright spot on this sorry subject. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond. This is my last post on the HWP earnings mess - its time to move on. Everyone relax and enjoy the weekend. Regards to all. >>>Even if they had their doubts, they couldn't very well just go public with "doubts". They wanted to wait until they had a handle on a pretty sure number. As an accountant, I can sympathize with their position.
