Yes, but..... Take a look at pipeline.com The second graph shows you what the total MAY open interest is worth at each of the possible closing prices today. That's all the May calls and all the May puts evaluated at the different closing prices. At 90, the open interest is worth over $200M. The point where the lowest open interest value would be is also shown. I think someone wanted to exercise those calls and pick up a ton of shares that folks wrote as covered calls.... on the cheap.
